Refer Friends Program Terms & Conditions

Referrer Offer:
The person making the referral (Referrer) will earn a $50 Visa® Reward Card for each individual referred (Referred Person) to MBT Bank who registers for the offer using the Referrer’s shared personal referral link, opens a new eligible account and completes all offer requirements. A Referrer may only earn a total of $500 in referral rewards per calendar year; and referral rewards may not be rolled over. Only one Referrer may receive a Reward Card for each Referred Person who fulfills the requirements (the first Referrer whose referral link is used will be the eligible Referrer)

Referred Person Personal Checking Account Offer:
To earn a $50 Visa Reward Card, the Referred Person must register for the offer using the referral link shared by the Referrer, open a new GoPremium Checking, GoPlus Checking, GoSimple Checking, or GoSmart Checking account, and make at least $1,000 in qualifying direct deposits within 90 days of account opening. Qualifying direct deposits include recurring electronic deposits of payroll, pension or Social Security. Person-to-person, bank transfers or other electronic money transfers, such as those made through internet payment services, do not qualify. The Referred Person must meet all applicable MBT Bank eligibility requirements for opening the account.

Program Qualifications

To earn a $50 Visa Reward Card, the Referred Person must complete the registration before opening a new eligible MBT Bank checking account and complete the following requirements within 60 days of account opening:

• Complete one (1) or more direct deposits total $1,000
• Enroll in eStatements, AND
• Activate a new debit card

Eligible checking accounts include the following: GoPremium Checking, GoPlus Checking, GoSimple Checking, GoSmart Checking.

Qualifying ACH direct deposit includes electronic direct deposits of a paycheck, pension payment, social security payment or other government benefits payment deposited into the checking account from an employer, a government agency, or other similar third-party organization. Deposits made by teller/ATM/mobile deposits, wire transfers, transfers between MBT Bank accounts, external transfers from other accounts at other financial institutions, or Peer to Peer (i.e. Zelle, Venmo) transfers do not qualify. Qualifying debit card transactions include signature and PIN-based debit card transactions.

The offer is not available if the Referred Person already has an MBT Bank checking account, or if anyone they add to their account already has an MBT Bank checking account.

Please allow up to 4-6 weeks, after completion of all requirements of this offer, for delivery of your Visa Reward Card. Each Reward Card amount may be reported as income to the IRS, state, and local tax authorities if required by applicable law. Visa Reward Card Recipients are responsible for any federal, state, and/or local taxes.

$25 minimum deposit required to open all accounts. GoPremium and GoPlus are interest bearing checking accounts. For interest-bearing accounts, the interest rate and annual percentage yield may change. At our discretion, we may change the interest rate on the account periodically. Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit (collected funds) for the deposit of noncash items (for example checks). If the account is closed before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest. Checking accounts may charge monthly account fees and/or servicing and transaction fees. Fees may reduce earnings. Refer to your Deposit Account Agreement and Schedule of Fee disclosures for product details.

This program may be discontinued or changed at any time without notice. Not valid with any other product offers.

The Referrer authorizes the sending of communications to each Referred Person. The email may not be recovered if the person has “opted out” of marketing material from MBT Bank or ReferLive. Each person who registers at ReferLive authorizes future communications including emails regarding the program unless they “opt out” by making an election at ReferLive or within such email. Returned/invalid email addresses and non-deliverable addresses are not the responsibility of MBT Bank or its third party vendors. The referred person acknowledges that a Reward Card will be issued to the Referrer after all conditions have been met in the time frames provided. The Reward Cards will be mailed to the addresses provided within the ReferLive registration system. Please ensure you keep your registration profile current.

The Reward Cards are good for three months and are subject to Terms and Conditions delivered with the card, including limitations on types of transactions for which they may be used.

Employees of MBT Bankd are not eligible to participate in this offer.
