A Message from our CEO
To our customers and communities:
We place the health and safety of our staff, customers, and communities we serve as a priority. Like many banks, we are taking precautionary measures in response to COVID-19 (2019 novel coronavirus). After much consideration, beginning Wednesday, March 18, all MBT Bank locations will close their lobbies and operate on a drive-up only basis. We will continue to service our customers through the following methods:
- Loan, Insurance, and Investment customers will be seen by appointment only. We are unable to set appointments with those who have been traveling or experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms.
- Deposit customers can utilize our drive-up at all locations. For new accounts, information will be taken over the phone and will be available for pick up in the drive-up. You may also utilize our night deposit in Forest City, Clear Lake, and Lake Mills.
- We will continue to provide service over the phone along with online chat support in online banking or the MBT2Go mobile app.
We want to make sure you have access to all our financial services. We want to remind you that you can access your accounts by using our online banking, MBT2Go mobile app, or by calling us at 641-585-2825. This is an opportune time to access our digital banking channels and utilize automated services such as direct deposit, mobile deposit, bill pay, and more. Customers can self-enroll in our online services at www.mbtbank.bank and clicking the ‘Login’ button on the home page.
MBT Bank will continue to monitor the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state and local public health authorities in the areas we serve. If there is anything we can to do assist you, please do not hesitate to contact any of our MBT Bank locations. We are happy to serve you.
